Nathaniel's notes on the ND clock system
Monday, Feb 10: Phone meeting.
Here's how the clock system looks from my end of things (i.e. DAQ interface).

Questions from me:
1. Will we be reading out timestamps from the GPS reciever?
2. User interface: we can currently control everything.. but how much ease-of-use
do we need?
e.g. Tuning the Fanout.. what tools would be useful for
that?
3. How much fanout control should be subsumed by TM, if any? Should we just
leave all control at the config file level?
3a. If not, should we remove the file level because it's redundant?
4. (Technical): Can we run our own NTP server like this and not get 'Fermilabed'
by their overzealous kerberization?
5. When and where do we test this complete system. Note that CalDet
(ND ONLY) may be an option, but isn't a great one; CalDet has no external
53 MHz, no spill, no GPS.
